EPA entered into a proposed administrative settlement under CERCLA that requires the settling parties to pay past and future U.S. response costs incurred at the D'Imperio Property Superfund site in Hamilton Township, New Jersey.
United States v. AK Steel Corp., No. 97-1863 (W.D. Pa. Feb. 28, 2011). A settling CERCLA defendant responsible for violations at the Breslube Penn Superfund site in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, must pay $1,398,412 in contribution claims and past U.S. response costs incurred at the site.
EPA determined that Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Idaho, Kansas, Oregon, and Wyoming have failed to submit revisions to their EPA-approved SIPs to apply PSD requirements to GHG-emitting sources.
