The Occupational Safety and Health Standards Board proposed amendments to regulations governing occupational exposures to respirable crystalline silica. The amendments would update and add new medical surveillance regulations as well as improve requirements concerning engineering controls, work practices, communications, training, reporting, and respiratory protection.
