The Public Service Commission adopted amendments to regulations governing the Commission’s Renewable Energy Portfolio Standard (RPS). The amendments, among other things, revise provisions to align with the Local Solar Expansion Amendment Act of 2022, adjust fee schedules, remove Tier Two renewable sources from the RPS program, modify submission deadlines and procedures for electricity suppliers’ annual compliance reports, add certification requirements for renewable sources and procedures for facility alterations, describe the decertification process, clarify reporting generation data, and reclassify retroactive renewable energy credit attribution methods.
