The Department of Environmental Quality proposed to adopt amendments to regulations governing water quality. The amendments would, among other things, revise provisions pertaining to groundwater mixing zones, nondegradation of water quality, criteria for determining nonsignificant changes in water quality, and criteria for nutrient reduction from subsurface wastewater treatment systems.  A hearing will be held April 23, 2024.
