The Department for Environmental Protection adopted amendments to regulations governing surface and groundwater monitoring and corrective action for special waste sites or facilities. The amendments, among other things, clarify that groundwater monitoring plans do not apply to the land application of biosolids unless a corrective action plan is necessary.
