The Department of Environmental Conservation proposed to reissue, with amendments, an Alaska Pollutant Discharge Elimination System general permit for point source discharges of pollutants associated with the application of biological pesticides or chemical pesticides that leave a residue. Amendments include adding a definition for the term "pesticide discharges to waters of the United States from pesticide application" and updating the definition for "pesticide residue" to be consistent with 40 C.F.R. 122.2.
