The Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) will conduct a public hearing on a proposed SIP revision that it intends to submit to EPA. The revision includes the enactment of Idaho Code §39-114 of the Environmental Protection and Health Act pursuant to HB 557. This statute requires DEQ to develop rules that establish a program for the open burning of crop residue. Rule Docket No. 58-0101-0801 contains the rule changes developed as a result of the legislation. The revision also includes an air quality analysis pursuant to §110(l) of CAA.
