EPA announced the availability of petitions submitted to the Agency under the American Innovation and Manufacturing Act of 2020. 

EPA proposed to issue regulations to implement certain provisions of the American Innovation and Manufacturing Act related to the phasedown of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), and seeks advanced input on how the Agency may alter its determination of company-specific HFC allocations under the Act.

Based on the U.S. Supreme Court's decision in McGirt v. Oklahoma, OSM determined that the state of Oklahoma no longer has authority to implement SMCRA programs within the exterior boundaries of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Reservation; the Act designates OSM as the regulatory authority instead because no tribe has obtained primacy in the jurisdiction.

In accordance with Exec. Order No. 13992, Revocation of Certain Executive Orders Concerning Federal Regulation, EPA rescinded its final rule issued October 19, 2020, which established administrative procedures for issuing Agency guidance documents.

EPA approved New Hampshire's request to revise certain of its Agency-authorized programs to allow electronic reporting.

EPA approved Indiana's request to revise certain of its Agency-authorized programs to allow electronic reporting.

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management adjusted the maximum daily civil monetary penalties for violations of OPA and the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act to account for inflation. 

EPA announced the availability of and seeks comment on the draft document "Technical Documentation for the Temperature Binning Framework," which provides technical documentation of a framework for analyzing the sector-specific impacts of climate change under different levels of warming.

In accordance with Exec. Order No. 13992, Revocation of Certain Executive Orders Concerning Federal Regulation, CEQ rescinded its January 2021 rule on guidance document procedures. 

EPA issued its semiannual regulatory agenda to update the public about regulations and major policies currently under development, reviews of existing regulations and major policies, and rules and major policymakings completed or canceled since the last agenda.
