The Natural Resources Conservation Service gave notice that it intends to issue a series of revised conservation practice standards in the National Handbook of Conservation Practices. 

FWS proposed new regulations to support conservation in the National Wildlife Refuge System by providing refuge managers with a consistent approach for evaluating and implementing management actions to ensure biological integrity, diversity, and environmental health, in accordance with the National Wildlife Refuge System Improvement Act of 1997. 

FWS initiated five-year status reviews under the ESA of 22 animal and plant species. 

FWS announced 90-day findings on petitions to list Betta hendra, Betta rutilans, Hickory Nut Gorge green salamander, pygmy rabbit, Railroad Valley toad, Southern Plains bumble bee, Southwest spring firefly, white-margined penstemon, and yellow-spotted woodland salamander, finding that listing may be warranted under the ESA. 

EPA adopted DOE’s electric vehicle charging stations categorical exclusion under NEPA.

DOE gave notice that the Environmental Management Advisory Board will be renewed for a two-year period beginning January 12, 2024.

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency adopted the Department of the Navy’s categorical exclusion under NEPA for the installation and operation of passive scientific measurement devices. 

DOE announced the availability of final guidance setting forth the nonbinding process that the agency plans to generally follow to designate National Interest Electric Transmission Corridors pursuant to the Federal Power Act.
