The Environmental Protection Agency adopted amendments to its regulations governing the accreditation of environmental laboratories. The amendments incorporate by reference Method 1633,"Analysis of Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) in Aqueous, Solid, Biosolids, and Tissue Samples by LC-MS/MS,” of EPA’s PFAS Drinking Water Laboratory Methods. The Environmental Protection Agency adopted amendments to its environmental laboratory certification fee rules. The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment proposed amendments to regulations governing safe harbor warnings for acrylamide exposure from food. The amendments would provide an additional safe harbor warning option for businesses that cause significant exposures to acrylamide in food products. Comments are due May 20, 2024.
