The Water Development Board proposed amendments to regulations governing the designation of river and coastal basins. The amendments would modernize the rule language and update the storage method of digital files for Texas' designated river and coastal basins. Comments are due March 4, 2024.
The Environmental Protection Agency proposed amendments to regulations governing administrative penalties. The amendments would remove section B to align with statutory changes and allow the agency to use standard state administrative penalties rather than separate detailed penalty amounts based on the lead and copper rules.
