EPA announced the release of and seeks comment on the Waste Reduction Model (WARM) version 16 and its supporting documentation. 

EPA announced the availability of the Draft National Strategy for Reducing Food Loss and Waste and Recycling Organics, developed by the Agency, USDA, and FDA to help prevent the loss and waste of food, where possible, increase recycling of food and other organic materials to support a more circular economy for all, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, save households and businesses money, and build cleaner and healthier communities.

DOE announced the availability of comments on its "Draft Consent-Based Siting Process for Consolidated Storage and Disposable Facilities for Spent Nuclear Fuel and High-Level Radioactive Waste."

NRC issued a new Regulatory Guide 3.76 (Revision 0), “Implementation of Aging Management Requirements for Spent Fuel Storage Renewals,” that addresses requirements for the renewal of specific licenses for independent spent fuel storage installations and certificates of compliance for spent fuel storage cask designs.

EPA approved negative declarations submitted in lieu of state plans to satisfy the requirements of the emission guidelines and compliance times for municipal solid waste landfills for Maine and Rhode Island.

EPA announced the availability of new information and data pertaining to its proposed rule published in the Federal Register on August 14, 2019, and seeks comment on whether this additional information may inform the Agency's reconsideration of the beneficial use definition and provisions for coal combustion residuals accumulations.
