FWS removed the Lake Erie watersnake from the list of endangered and threatened wildlife under the ESA due to its recovery.

FWS determined endangered status under the ESA for six foreign birds found on islands in French Polynesia and in Africa, Europe, and Southeast Asia.

FWS announced a partial 90-day finding on a petition to list 404 species in the southeastern United States as endangered or threatened under the ESA; the agency found that listing 374 of the species may be warranted and initiated a status review.

FWS announced a 12-month finding on a petition to list three southwestern moth species as endangered or threatened and to designate critical habitat under the ESA; the agency found that listing is not warranted.

FWS announced a 90-day finding on a petition to list all chimpanzees as endangered under the ESA; the agency found that listing may be warranted and initiated a status review.

FWS removed bald eagles in the Sonoran Desert area of central Arizona from the list of endangered and threatened wildlife under the ESA to comply with Center for Biological Diversity v. Salazar, No. 07-cv-00038-PHX-MHM (D. Ariz. Sept. 30, 2010).
