EPA announced an opportunity for public input on ENERGY STAR product specification development activities.

FERC amended the Uniform System of Accounts for public utilities and licensees to create new accounts for wind, solar, and other renewable generating assets; create a new functional class for energy storage accounts; codify the accounting treatment of environmental credits; and create new accounts within existing functions for computer hardware, software, and communication equipment.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration proposed new fuel economy standards for passenger cars and light trucks and fuel efficiency standards for model years 2027-31, new fuel efficiency standards for heavy-duty pickup trucks and vans for model years 2030-35, and augural standards for model year 2032 passenger cars and light trucks.
