FWS announced a 90-day finding on a petition to list all chimpanzees as endangered under the ESA; the agency found that listing may be warranted and initiated a status review.

FWS removed bald eagles in the Sonoran Desert area of central Arizona from the list of endangered and threatened wildlife under the ESA to comply with Center for Biological Diversity v. Salazar, No. 07-cv-00038-PHX-MHM (D. Ariz. Sept. 30, 2010).
