EPA issued its semiannual regulatory agenda to update the public about regulations and major policies currently under development, reviews of existing regulations and major policies, and rules and major policymakings completed or canceled since the last agenda.

EPA approved New Hampshire's request to revise certain of its Agency-authorized programs to allow electronic reporting.

EPA announced the availability of and seeks stakeholder input on information regarding hydrofluorocarbon consumption and production in the United States for the years 2011, 2012, and 2013 in preparation for upcoming regulatory actions under the American Innovation and Manufacturing Act of 2020, which directs the Agency to develop production and consumption baselines and to phase down hydrofluorocarbon production and consumption relative to those baselines.

The president issued a memorandum for the heads of executive departments and agencies to reaffirm and build upon the Administration's commitment to scientific integrity and evidence-based policymaking.

OSHA proposed to modify the Hazard Communication Standard to reduce costs and burdens while improving the quality and consistency of information provided to employers and employees regarding chemical hazards and associated protective measures.

EPA seeks nominations from a diverse range of qualified candidates to be considered for appointment to one of seven new vacancies on its National Environmental Justice Advisory Council.

The president issued Exec. Order No. 14007, establishing the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology to advise the president on matters involving policy affecting science, technology, and innovation, as well as on matters involving scientific and technological information that is needed to inform public policy relating to the economy, worker empowerment, education, energy, the environment, public health, national and homeland security, racial equity, and other topics.

The president issued Exec. Order No. 14008, Tackling the Climate Crisis at Home and Abroad, which orders the United States to prioritize the climate crisis in foreign policy and national security, take a governmentwide approach to the climate crisis, use the federal government's buying power and real property and asset management to support climate action, promote green jobs in infrastructure, conservation, agriculture, reforestation, and energy, and secure environmental justice.

The president issued Exec. Order No. 13973, Providing an Order of Succession Within the Environmental Protection Agency; the order lists EPA officials to act as and perform the functions and duties of the office of the Agency Administrator during any period in which the Administrator and the Deputy Administrator have died, resigned, or otherwise become unable to perform the functions and duties of the office.
