SPAIN PROPOSES TO INVEST $53 BILLION IN CLIMATE CHANGE PLAN

On February 20, Spain announced a $53 billion public investment plan to tackle climate change and become carbon-neutral by 2050. The government intends to establish a calendar of capacity auctions to work toward a target of producing 74% of the country's electricity from renewable sources by 2030 and 100% by 2050.
