would amend Title 38, U.S. Code, to authorize the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to make certain contributions to local authorities to mitigate the risk of flooding on local property adjacent to medical facilities of the Department of Veterans Affairs.

would protect consumers from price-gouging of gasoline and other fuels.

would improve the provision of federal resources to help build capacity and fund risk-reducing, cost-effective mitigation projects for eligible state, local, tribal, and territorial governments and certain private nonprofit organizations.

would improve the forecasting and understanding of tornadoes and other hazardous weather.

would require the Administrator of EPA to carry out certain activities to improve recycling and composting programs.

would establish a pilot grant program to improve recycling accessibility.

would extend the authorization for the Cape Cod National Seashore Advisory Commission.

would ensure that, after the declaration of a major disaster, states, local governments, and Indian tribal governments affected by the major disaster receive immediate approval for services and assistance under §416 of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act.
