Below are summaries of Bills Introduced, Committee Reports, Chamber Actions, and Public Laws reported in the most recent issue of ELR's Weekly Update.

would direct the Administrator of General Services, on behalf of the Secretary of the Interior, to convey Federal property located in the National Petroleum Reserve in Alaska to the Olgoonik Corporation, an Alaska Native Corporation established under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act. 

would adjust the boundary of the Arapaho National Forest in Colorado. 

would provide for an exchange of land between the United States and the Trinity Public Utilities District of Trinity County, California, involving a parcel of National Forest System land in Shasta-Trinity National Forest. 

would reauthorize the National Estuary Programs. 

would amend the CWA to clarify when the EPA Administrator has the authority to prohibit the specification of a defined area, or deny or restrict the use of a defined area for specification, as a disposal site under section 404.

would amend the CWA to exempt certain silvicultural activities from national pollutant discharge elimination system permitting requirements.
