Below are summaries of Bills Introduced, Committee Reports, Chamber Actions, and Public Laws reported in the most recent issue of ELR's Weekly Update.

would amend the law relating to sport fish restoration and recreational boating safety.

would increase the maximum percentage of funds available to DOE for laboratory directed research and development.

would amend the SDWA to require testing of underground sources of drinking water in connection with hydraulic fracturing operations.

would make the National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass available at a discount to certain veterans.

would require DOE, in coordination with DOI, to establish a program to provide workforce training and education in sustainable energy at community colleges.
