would provide for consideration of the joint resolution (S.J. Res. 11) providing for congressional disapproval under Chapter 8 of Title 5, U.S. Code, of the rule submitted by EPA relating to “Control of Air Pollution From New Motor Vehicles: Heavy-Duty Engine and Vehicle Standards.”

would upgrade the communications service used by the National Weather Service.

would provide guidance for and investment in the upgrade and modernization of the NOAA Weather Radio All Hazards network.

would establish an advisory group to encourage and foster collaborative efforts among individuals and entities engaged in disaster recovery relating to debris removal.

would modify the fire management assistance cost share.

would amend the Federal Ocean Acidification Research and Monitoring Act of 2009 to require the Secretary of Commerce, acting through the NOAA Administrator, to collaborate with state and local governments and Indian tribes on vulnerability assessments related to ocean acidification, research planning, and similar activities.

would establish and implement a multi-year Legal Gold and Mining Partnership Strategy to reduce the negative environmental and social impacts of illicit gold mining in the Western Hemisphere.

would authorize the Caribbean Basin Security Initiative, enhance the United States-Caribbean security partnership, and prioritize natural disaster resilience.

would direct DOE and NOAA to conduct collaborative research in order to advance numerical weather and climate prediction in the United States.

would require the Federal Communications Commission to review certain rules and develop recommendations for rule changes to promote precision agriculture.
