Utah: Water

The Division of Drinking Water proposed to amend Utah Admin. Code r. 309-530-4, 309-530-8, and 309-530-9 to provide detailed design and construction standards for membrane filtration facilities treating surface water and groundwater under the direct influence of surface water and to update certain requirements for all types of alternative filtration. Missouri: Air

The Department of Natural Resources proposed to amend air quality standards and air pollution control regulations. The amendments would update the rule purpose, applicability, definitions, and federal regulatory requirements for existing municipal solid waste landfills in Missouri. Oklahoma: Water

The Department of Environmental Quality proposed to amend Chapters 606, 631, and 690 to ensure the Oklahoma Pollutant Discharge Elimination System complies with the Department's delegation agreement with EPA, and to ensure Oklahoma retains responsibility for administering the NPDES program in Oklahoma. The federal regulation updates being incorporated include EPA’s Clean Water Act Methods Update Rule and the Agency's finalized changes to regulations to limit lead in plumbing materials used in water systems. A hearing will be held January 11, 2022.

Oklahoma: Water

The Department of Environmental Quality proposed to amend Chapters 301, 302, and 307, concerning laboratory accreditation, to update incorporations by reference for EPA methodologies, and to make other amendments for conformity with the updated incorporations by reference. Updates include the most recent EPA Primary Drinking Water Regulations, National Standards for Solid Waste Test Methods, and EPA Test Procedures for the Analysis of Pollutants. A hearing will be held January 11, 2022. Comments are due January 10, 2022.

Alabama: Water

The Department of Environmental Management proposed to amend UST regulations. The amendments would clarify the requirements for technical standards, corrective action plans, preliminary investigations, free product removal, investigative derived wastes, and the operation and maintenance of systems, including spill prevention equipment and release detection, as well as to make updates to analytical methods. A hearing will be held January 6, 2022. Comments are due the same date.
