Below are summaries of Bills Introduced, Committee Reports, Chamber Actions, and Public Laws reported in the most recent issue of ELR's Weekly Update.

would amend the Grand Ronde Reservation Act to address the hunting, fishing, trapping, and animal gathering rights of the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde Community. 

would amend the Siletz Reservation Act to address the hunting, fishing, trapping, and animal gathering rights of the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians. 

would amend the FWPCA to clarify the definition of navigable waters.

would amend the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act to designate certain segments of the Gila River system in the state of New Mexico as components of the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System, and provide for the transfer of administrative jurisdiction over certain federal land in the state of New Mexico. 

would establish a regulatory system for sustainable offshore aquaculture in the U.S. exclusive economic zone. 

would amend the Natural Gas Act to expedite approval of exports of small volumes of natural gas.

would establish the Sutton Mountain National Monument to authorize certain land exchanges in the state of Oregon, and convey certain BLM land in the state of Oregon to the city of Mitchell, Oregon, and Wheeler County, Oregon, for conservation, economic, and community development purposes. 

would withdraw certain BLM land from mineral development. 

would establish the New Philadelphia National Historical Park in the state of Illinois as a unit of the National Park System. 

would express the sense of the House of Representatives that it is the duty of DOD to reduce the overall environmental impact of all military activities and missions.
