Under a proposed consent decree concerning recovery of response costs regarding the Ley Creek Deferred Media Operable Unit of the Onondaga Lake Superfund site in Onondaga County, New York, settling CERCLA defendants must make individual payments totaling $2,170,916, $200,000 of which will be paid to three entities that succeeded General Motors under a 2011 consent decree in the General Motors bankruptcy matter and the rest of which, including accrued interest, will be paid to EPA for its past and future response costs at the site.
