Under a proposed modification to a consent decree concerning costs incurred in response to the release or threatened release of hazardous substances at the Malvern TCE Superfund site in Chester County, Pennsylvania, settling CERCLA defendants entered into proposed agreements of sale to sell two properties for $1,100,000, based on the fair-market appraisal value of the properties, of which the United States would receive $1,073,373.
