United States v. Arbor Hills Energy LLC

A settling CAA defendant that exceeded permitted sulfur dioxide (SO2) emissions limits at its landfill gas-to-energy facility in Northville, Michigan,must pay a civil penalty of $750,000 and either construct a renewable natural gas facility that converts landfill gas into pipeline-quality natural gas or install a sulfur treatment system that achieves a 64% reduction in SO2 emissions.
