- The Georgia Department of Natural Resources proposed to amend Ga. Comp. R. & Regs. 391-3-1-.03(8) and (10), concerning permits. Proposed changes to rule 391-3-1-.03(8), “Permit Requirements,” would remove the ozone nonattainment area new source review rule because the area has been redesignated to attainment and U.S. EPA has revoked the one-hour ozone standard. Revisions to rule 391-3-1-.03(10), “Title V Operating Permits,” would increase major source permitting thresholds for the 13 formerly severe counties from 25 tpy (tons per year) to 100 tpy of nitrogen oxides and volatile organic compounds. A hearing will be held April 12, 2008, and comments are due April 18. See https://epd.georgia.gov/sites/epd.georgia.gov/files/PublicNotice_NAA_NSR_Removal03082018.pdf.
