The Division of Pesticide Control proposed amendments to regulations concerning restrictions on pesticide use. The revisions would, among other things, clarify the process for requesting a special permit relative to surface water consideration, clarify restrictions to protect water resources, and allow the use of Avitrol, a bird control pesticide, by individuals holding certificates of registration to use restricted-use pesticides.
