The Department of Environmental Protection proposed underground storage cavern rules. The proposed rules would establish requirements for owners and operators of underground storage cavern systems that are used to store any natural or artificial gas, or any petroleum product or derivative of any petroleum product, with the exception of liquefied natural gas.
