The Environmental Protection Commission proposed to amend Chapters 9, 40, 43, and 49 concerning public and private water supply systems. Among other things, the proposed amendments would add clarity to well separation distances from sources of contamination and ease certain aspects of the water main separation requirements by incorporating siting and construction alternatives.
