The Department of Environmental Protection proposed to amend Fla. Admin. Code Ann. R. 62-41.302(1) to update the Central Florida Water Initiative Area Supplemental Applicant’s Handbook. The proposed amendments would adopt drought allocation for supplemental irrigation for agricultural uses and provides a process for water management districts to annually examine an agricultural user’s five-year moving average supplemental irrigation water use.
